How do I know if my digital device is SDHC Compatible?

The functions of the SDHC are different from the regular SD cards, thus making SDHC cards NOT backwards compatible with former SD format host devices. Do not attempt to use a SDHC memory card into an SD host device. SD cards are however forward compatible with SDHC host devices; making SD memory cards compatible with both SD and SDHC host devices. Devices that use the SDHC memory cards have an indicated SDHC logo.
