Product is great. Changes in delivery aren't so good.
Used to be free delivery on items purchased over $25.00.
Now is $50.00. Delivery has changed from FED_EX to FED_EX and usps, which takes 7 to eight days to deliver.
3 days more than it used to be coast to coast.

Great Burn with Excellent Labeling

Verbatim are great discs. I truly have tried all the different brands of Lightscribe CDs and DVDs and now only order Verbatim. No problem with the burn and these COLOR discs for some reason yield a better, sharper and darker label etching than any standard disc.

Best Looking Labels Yet

Even tho they are a bit more of a cost, they are the only Lightscribe DVDs that give a good dark etch. The standard gold ones are so faded even after a couple of passes. But these are nice and deep the first and only pass. Almost like, but I do not understand why it is, the Lightscribe CDs label nice and dark compared to the crappy standard DVDs. But these Colored Verbatims resolved that issue for the DVDs.

The winner among the Lightscribe color DVD-R's, in my experience, with easy purchase from Supermediastore.

That title pretty much tells the story. This is a decent value for this not-so-easy-to-find-locally DVD-R, made for Lightscribe labeling, in 5 colors.

I also purchase the less-expensive HP Lightscribe DVD-R media - in beautiful monotone -neutral goldish - from this merchant. Same review. No problem with ordering, no disappointment with the goods, consistently good results with the DVD-R disks, and free shipping is always nice.

FWIW, I recently tried a similarly-priced name-brand Lightscribe DVD-R and had a rude awakening: one of the colors is "black", and if you ever tried printing black text on a black label, well.... those are for you! :-)

These get as dark as a mid-deep green or almost-candy-apple blue, but also includes the gold and paler yellow. So together with a pack of monotone disks (which cost less but are also fine), this makes for a good collection of options for various projects, with colors which are not only pretty, but can be effectively printed on with Lightscribe.
