I use this product for both saving files from my computer and also for recording TV series and movies from cable TV. Used hundreds of the Verbatim 4x white inkjet printable until it was no longer available then switched to this 8x version. Never had a coaster with either media. Both the Plexter 716-A recorder in my computer plus a standalone Magnaavox DVD recorder make perfect burns with this media. It prints very well on my Epson printer too. Will I buy this media again? You bet!!
