These White Inkjet Hub Printable Taiyo Yuden 8X DVD-R media General Purpose are for data and video and come on 100 disc tape wrapped spindle. These discs are compatible with DVD-R burners that use DVD-R media for general purpose.

Explanation of PI Errors/PI Failures:
* PI(Parity Inner) Error: No larger areas on the disc should exceed
280 PI Errors, do not worry too much about high single spikes that
exceed 280.
* PIF(Parity Inner Failures): No large areas on the disc should
exceed 32 PI Failures, do not worry too much about high single
spikes that exceed 32.
* And as always; lower is better

I've been using these discs for over 4 years now for building my movie library. I've waisted $100's on inferior DVD's of every brand in search of a good disc. Until I found Taiyo Yuden. I might, MIGHT, have one disc out of 100 that doesn't burn; but, that is rare. My collection ranges in the 100's of burned movies and, even years later, the picture quality of the oldest of the Taiyo Yuden discs is perfect. And Supermediastore.com' price [...] can't be beat.

Resolution and audio are not affected, which is a huge plus considering that I'm currently a DJ. I'm going to purchase another 100-300 disks real soon.
