These White Inkjet Hub Printable Taiyo Yuden 8X DVD-R media General Purpose are for data and video and come on 100 disc tape wrapped spindle. These discs are compatible with DVD-R burners that use DVD-R media for general purpose.

Explanation of PI Errors/PI Failures:
* PI(Parity Inner) Error: No larger areas on the disc should exceed
280 PI Errors, do not worry too much about high single spikes that
exceed 280.
* PIF(Parity Inner Failures): No large areas on the disc should
exceed 32 PI Failures, do not worry too much about high single
spikes that exceed 32.
* And as always; lower is better

Never had one fail. Taiyo Yuden is the only brand of blank media I use, both for DVD-R and CD-R uses.

I rarely have a problem with these disks. I have to admit though, that the last batch I had, there were about 15-20 disks that failed after burning. Upon inspection of the surface, you can see "blotches" in the readable area. Needless to say, the disks will not play.

I love this brand of blank media. It is all I use to my general purpose media. In the last 700 blanks I have had only one bad disc. Compared to the crap you buy in the big box stores that is amazing.
