Not Happy w/ the CD R

Started to use them in our recorder @ Church and disk after disk kept erroring. Not sure what is going on but we've used these types of disk in the past from other companies. Not a happy customer right now. The DVD's work great.

After having issues with other brands and having quite a few backups become unreadable, I came across the Taiyo Yuden ones and have been using them ever since. It's been three years now and haven't had any issue with them. Very highly recommended, even though one can find cheaper ones.

Expected Something Different

I've bought Taiyo Yuden CDs before, and I know the burn quality is second to none. However, I was expecting the "Silver Thermal" layer to be similar to the "Silver Thermal" DVD top. I've purchased the regular TY CDs from another retailer and the same silver top ended up "flaking" from the top and made my CDs unreadable. I was expecting the top layer to be similar to the DVDs that TY makes. The DVD is actually a goldish layer that doesn't feel like it's going to peel off. Actually, the picture that SuperMediaStore has on these CDs looks exactly like the DVDs, and I was hoping that the CDs were the same. I wish that SuperMediaStore showed an actual picture of the product instead of a stock photo of A DIFFERENT PRODUCT.

I was hoping to save some money by not having to buy the white inkjet version since I only need to mark the discs with a sharpie. I was also trying to avoid using CD label stickers as much as possible since these are given to employees that don't have access to CD stickers.

I bought the 600pk of this product, so it's not worth having to ship the product back to exchange it. Guess next time I will have to spend more to get the ones that I know will not give me any trouble.
