Rarely have issues, unsurpassed look and durability

I switched from non-watershield Taiyo Yuden to this media about two years ago and never turned back.
Yes -- it's very expensive compared to other media. But I RARELY get returns from compatibility issues, and LOVE the non-smearing glossy professional finish.
Made over 1000 DVDs last year... probably 2 re-issues (I used the silver Taiyo Yudens and they worked for those 2 folks).

These discs may be twice the price of average blank disc but they are way superior in both compatibility and great glossy print out. This is my first try with these disc and regular verbatim user for so many years, I have never realized that better disc exists. I use Dymo disc painter and the out come of the print make me drop my jaw once I saw the finished print. Highly recommended to quality users.

I have been using Taiyo Yuden Water Shield White Inkjet Hub Printable 16X DVD-R for 2 years. The result of printing is gorgeous. I am a wedding/event videographer, and regularly deliver DVDs to clients. So far, I have only had one client who reported issues of playing the disc. The main reason is that they have an older DVD player(more than 5 years old). It is more expensive than other printable DVDs. But I think it is well worth the investment if you want to impress your clients.
