Cartridges stopped working after second use.

Both the black and the color remanufactured cartridges worked perfectly at first but then stopped working at all after the second use. I went through all the head cleaning and nozzle cleaning routines but I couldn't get them to work right again. There are big gaps in the test patterns. Before I realized that the cartridges wouldn't keep working properly I had already placed a second order for the same products. I'm not at the location of my printer right now so I can't continue with the testing and cleaning procedures for another 3 weeks. I'm hoping that when I get home to my printer that it will work properly again.
