Busted and Quit

I used this flash drive for school for about 3 months. Then after normal wear and tear; nothing out of the ordinary it fell apart. the bits that the main little strage chip broke and one is even stuck in one of my usb ports making it useless. I always had it in my pocket on my keychain. Never abused it. And now it won't read at all no matter what I try. I lost all the data on it because it just stopped working. But hey, it was cheap and 8 gigs!

Vista may rate this as too slow for ReadyBoost on 1st test - please re-try if you want to use this USB stick that way... Using the built-in cli program that Vista's performance ratings are based on, this is actually very fast -- not the fastest, but very, very fast for the $. Otherwise it seems sturdy enough, with no cap to loose, & the activity lite isn't outrageously bright like the SanDisk Cruzers. I was disappointed that it didn't come with a keychain ring or attachment, but that just meant a minute or two digging in the junk drawer to fix. ;-)

The price was quite low for 8GB pen drive and that was the primary reason I bought, so far the performance has been satisfactory but it has been only few weeks but I hope that it will last.
