I use this Sony HDM-63VG MiniDV tape with my Canon Vixia HV30 & yes there is a major difference from using regular MiniDV tape to using Sony HDM-63VG MiniDV (yes I did compare). In low light conditions the Sony HDV tape has noticeably LESS noise (grain). Outside in sunny conditions the clarity is outstanding. WOW!!! HD home movies very cool stuff. I’m so happy with the Sony HDV tape & with the price I have purchased my fourth pack.
