Offers massive capacity, extremely fast transfer rate and quick file access. Ideal for data-intensive media applications and for rapid backup of network servers and workstation data.

Advanced binder system minimizes tape and head wear, achieving 500,000 pass reliability DL3TK85, DL3XTTK87, DL4TK88 DL3CL cleaning cartridge available. A single DLT Tape IV cartridge has a native capacity of 35 MB (up to 70 MB compressed), and a data transfer rate of 5 MB/s (up to 10 MB/s compressed) using the top-end DLT7000 drive.

Adaptive cache buffering, multiple heads, longitudinal serpentine tracks, and high tape speed contribute to this outstanding performance.
