I installed this right after the original Samsung cartridge gave out. It fit right in, and worked right away, however the quality was nowhere near as good, especially on graphics. It printed overly dark and I couldn't adjust it out. In short, this is fine if you do mostly text, but if you print images I'd suggest looking further. No opinion on life span as I just installed it.

The toner looks just as great as the OEM Samsung toner I used before, and for 1/3 of the price, I'm not complaining!
