There was a bad batch of RITEKs about a year ago - the discs went bad after a few months. This seems to have been rectified. (Fingers crossed...)

We use 500-800 DVDs per month to mass duplicate a college-level extension program courses in video format. We have been using these for over 1 year. Very low failure rate in duplicators(under 1%). Very low return rate by students(under 1%). For us the 8X Ridata DVD-R are the best balance of cost and reliability for our purposes.

I used to recommend these to people but then started to have incompatibility issues. Movies skipping throughout and finally freezing at the end. Even my tried and true Apex dvd player would freeze up with these. Now I just use these for PC backups.
