Expensive, Printing ink prices (all manufacturers) are highway robbery.

I bought the Primera printer about 4-5 years ago. The printer performs alright, not as good as I expected for $1200.00. But the ink over the past few years has went up from about $32 a cartridge to $45 a cartridge and it doesn't last. I get about 100 disc per cartridge, black last a little longer, but what do you do I can't afford to upgrade to a better printer. So i just keep putting alot of money in ink.

I like my Bravo printer. The only thing is, the nozzles tend to clog within an hour of use. So, when you go to print a new disc, the ink does not flow. I take a slightly damp Kleenex and wipe the residue from the nozzle area before printing each time. This seems to eliminate that issue. However, it is a waste of my time.

I'm not sure the cart has anything to do with it. I'm using it in my SE II Bravo disc printer. I do not get nearly as good or color matching as I did with my EPSON R200 [$] But the Bravo will do 25+ Disc at a time.
