Primera Bravo II 25 Disc DVD/CD Publisher

Burn and Print - Automatically!

Screen Shot

Bravo II is the easiest to use and most advanced CD/DVD publishing system ever. With its built-in burn and print capabilities, it produces up to 50 discs at a time. Best of all, the entire process is automatic. Simply specify the files you wish to burn and print, select how many discs you'd like, and press "Go!" from your Windows PC or Mac.

CD, CD/DVD and Print-Only Models
Mechanism

For CD-Rs, the Bravo II CD Publisher has a high-speed 52x CD-R recorder. Full 700MB discs are produced in less than three minutes each.

For DVDΘa?s, choose the Bravo II DVD Publisher. This model is dual-purpose. It produces both CD-Rs and DVDΘa?s in the same drive. Bravo II incorporates the very latest, state-of-the-art recordable DVD drives from Pioneer?.

If you only need to print, the Bravo II AutoPrinter produces gorgeous, full-color CDs and DVDs in jobs of up to 50 discs at a time. It automatically feeds discs into and out of the printer and is the perfect companion to the tower-style duplicator you may already own - all for a price that's about the same as other manual disc printers!

Integrated 4800 DPI Printing
Rain CD

Bravo II incorporates stunning, full-color printing at up to 4800 dpi - the best in the industry. You'll be able to produce discs that look as professional as any you've ever seen using high-resolution text, graphics and even photos. Printing times are fast. It took just 54 seconds to print the disc shown here at 600 x 600 dpi resolution.

Exclusive AccuDisc? Technology

Bravo II PickerWith Bravo II, you'll also benefit from Primera's new patent-pending AccuDisc Technology.

This suite of hardware and firmware enhancements provides the most accurate and precise disc picking available today. Utilizing advanced LED optics instead of mechanical components, AccuDisc eliminates misalignment of the picking mechanism. It also prevents the feeding of double discs into the recordable drive - a common problem with other picking systems.

Many Choices of Media
Bravo II Picker

Bravo II produces not only standard 120mm discs, but also several of the popular business card shaped and mini CD/DVD formats. An optional media adapter kit is required.

Get Up and Running Quickly

From initial set-up to full operation, Bravo II is easy to use. The professional burning software from Sonic? for the PC or Charismatic Engineering's Discribe V5.0 for the Mac allows virtually any digital information to be duplicated. SureThing? CD Labeler Primera Edition Software for the PC and Discus? Labeling Software for the Mac is also included. Both programs make professional looking disc printing a snap with full-color backgrounds and templates.

Large Disc Capacity
Bravo II Kiosk

Bravo II can burn and print up to 25 discs in standard mode or up to 50 discs in "Kiosk Mode" where discs are dispensed out the center of the machine. For duplication of 50 discs at a time, an optional Kiosk Kit (shown at right) is available to stack discs neatly and ready for distribution.

The Price/Performance Leader

Primera manufactures more automated disc publishing and duplication systems than any other company in the world. So, no matter what you need to duplicate - audio, video, music, software, photos, images, presentations and more - you can feel confident with the Bravo II's performance and reliability. Best of all, Bravo II delivers truly professional results at an affordable price!

Network Capability with PTBurn Network Software

PTBurn Network Software allows multiple users to send CD or DVD recording and label printing jobs to a Bravo II remotely from client PCs. The software includes a range of useful features for the office environment such as job status, job queue priority management, type of disc (CD/DVD), multiple copies, replacement fields and more.

A single license enables one server PC and 5 client PCs. Additional clients can be purchased in blocks of five. For the most demanding environments, an SDK is available for your developers to create custom applications and specialized job interfaces to the PTBurn Server and operate the Bravo II Disc Publisher.

I have owned a Primera Bravo II for approx 4 years. It is an impressive piece of technology. Although, after printing approx 172 labels (this data is actually tracked by the Bravo II printer) my print-head failed. After contacting Primera Tech support for assistance (they were very timely and supportive) it was determined that the unit needed servicing (the unit was out of warranty at this time). After diagnosing the unit and repairing the problem, I was provided a repair cost. The repair plus shipping would have been approx $330. What makes this review ending so great is that, Primera opted to replace the parts without cost (since the problem was cause by a faulty part that had been updated on newer models I only paid Labor & Shipping costs). Although the unit was out of warranty, they were within their rights to charge me the full repair cost. So, I would encourage anyone looking for a product that will actually do what the manufacturer says it will do, (and a company that will go the extra mile to make good on their product promises if it doesn't) buy a Primera Bravo II Disk Publisher System. I give Primera an excellent rating for the Bravo II product, their service and especially customer support.

The Bravo II simply gets the job done with exceptional results. Its high-speed burning and quick printing make it a joy to produce one-offs to several hundred duplicates. If you're looking to produce thousands of copies, go to a professional CD manufacturing company, but if you're looking for professional quality on a small scale, than the Bravo II is an outstanding choice

let me tell you that even at $[...], the price is well worthwhile. If you are a beginning musician and need to get your name out there, you could send your demo discs off to a company to print them for you, but that gets very pricey. If you have a lot of discs to print you could easily save a few hundred dollars each pack of CDs you burn and print. In the long run you will save yourself a ton of money by using the Bravo II system. This is meant for businesses and professionals and not the average home user, but the price is at a spot where almost anyone who is serious could afford to buy one. Thanks Primera for giving me the chance to check out this beauty. I created a few sample CDs and handed them to my friends and they were all very impressed and could tell it wasn?t just any CD printer.
