Too bad they don't work as described. DON'T BUY THEM

The first bit of bad news is that you cannot open these mailers. The pull-tab design is completely defective, offering no "pre-scoring" along either side of the pull tab, making it impossible to open the envelope by pulling on the tab. The only way to open the envelope is to cut with a tool, or pull hard on the glued side flaps. Both operations risk damaging the disc. Several people ruined their discs trying to open this envelope. Also, many defective ones in the bunch, edge peeling apart, glue on the wrong side of the pull&peel etc.
The next issues are the result of the Post Office regulations. The disc, plus mailer, must total less than one ounce AND the width must be at least 1.3 times the height in order to not be classified as "square" by the Post Office. Square envelopes are subject to a $0.22 surcharge. Most post offices either have returned them to me for insufficient postage or charged the customer postage due. Which is quite frustrating when trying to run a business as you can imagine. I will go back to my old mailers that work the way they should.

Too large for first class letter postage

Too large for first class letter postage. The seal at the sides of mailer are wide and cause it to cost 88 cents instead of 44 cents.

I have to say I had read all the reviews and thought "how bad could they be". I would not buy these again. I did not send them back and will make them work for mailing my CD's but so cheap. My postage is $.61 and that is great because the post office was charging 1.60 on my other mailers. The turn around time from when I ordered and got my shipment was crazy fast.
