I use these tapes professionally and the quality has always been great. Had one problem with the tape being to tight and it broke my DVCAM I didn't know it was the tape that had created the problem. DVCAM repaired, downloaded other tapes then went to down load the same tape and it broke the gear again. Repaired again and through the tape away. I think it was just a one time problem because all the other tapes I have used I have not had a problem. It would be nice to have a point of contact to get a free replacement tape for the bad one and to let someone know I had this problem to see if anybody else had this problem. But the cost is so small I figure it is not worth it for the company.

I'm the last person in the world to write a negative review, I'll give anything a chance, and give good marks to anything even average. However, both the "pro" version of these tapes, and this less expensive version have not proved reliable for me.
I have three cameras an XHA1, HV20, and an Optura in which I've used these tapes, and have found I average 1 dropout (sometimes more) per tape.
I've never even seen a dropout in dozens of tapes from other brands in the past.
Because I've been afraid to switch tapes (ala the reported lubrication issue), I've stayed with these tapes for these cameras for too long.
Other frinds of mine have reported the same issues with these tapes. I've used about 40 of these tapes all together.
I'm sorry, but it's 1 star on quality, and 5 stars (as always) for Super Media Stores price, and fast service.
