I am very pleased with these Lightscribe disks. Haven't had a failed write and the labeling surface is the highest quality. I don't know why anyone would spend more for the well known name brand disks.

I have seen no real difference for your 44 cent disks and the HP and Verbatim disks I have used in the past--except a 50% savings. I used these disks with my Pinnacle Studio 12 to save classsic movies from my DVR.
