There's a reason they say use geniune ink only

I've tried using the refills but they never have the ink capacity that the genuine article has. Sure I saved money on the cartridge, but ended up using three for every one of the real Lexmark inks. So, did I really save money. No, not at all.

single packs are better!

Two things:

1. I have great luck with the Lexmark single ink packs. I too often get dried out ink in the double packs -- either double color or color + black. For some reason they maybe sit in inventory too long. I had this happen at supermediastore and also other suppliers.

2. I'm using these to print discs in a Discmakers Medley printer (same as Xcellent), and I gave up on recycled ink cartridges, the Lexmark originals are worth it to me.
