This is a great gadget that helps you save more than just a few watts! It's like your first flashlight, that you would use it to see everything in a different light. With it, you will find which appliances in your home are the silent "electricity vampires" that cost you electricity money even when idle or unused. If it displays 1 watt is being used with out an device plugged in, it is defective and needs to be returned. I am still waiting on a replacement to know if all are like this. Tech said they should not show any watts being used if nothing is plugged in.
