Looked at connecting MacBook Pro to bigscreen. Apple miniDisplay to VGA was $29 or $39 at Best Buy. Found Kanex product via Google search and checked out Kanex site. Googled this specific product and found it cheaper at SMS, plus no shipping (if you don't mind ground shipping) and they threw in a free 6 foot HDMI cable. Both arrived in about seven days.

Better than Apple's solution, cheaper than Kanex website, no hassle order and delivery. I like it!!!!
Oh, and it works great too....

Nice product and worked just as I expected. I did have to adjust the "2nd display" so that my TV would show the correct image. I could't find the display adjustment at first because my Mac Book Pro placed the 2nd display setting onto the 2nd display. After I figured that out...worked perfect. Thanks! Quick shipment too.

I think the product Idea is great I just couldn't get it to work.

It might have been my Phillips TV set or my Yamaha Receiver, but I could not get a consistant signal using this adapter with my MacMini. I think the product Idea is great I just couldn't get it to work.
