TYG03 YUDENS ARE THE BEST I CAN NEVER COMPLAIN. THEY PLAY IN ANY MACHINE, I JUST WISH PEOPLE WOULD STICK WITH SONY, JVC, SAMSUNG, AND PANASONIC WHEN IT COMES TO DVD PLAYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i ve been burning dvd s for a long time now and these seem to be the best blanks so far ...these jvc discs are of high quality and reproduce flawlessly ... sound and picture are always perfect ... out of the hundreds of these discs that i ve used there are very few coasters ....

Taiyo Yuden with a more recognized name

These are excellent discs. Watch for a good sale and stock up.

I've burned a hundreds of these and don't have a single coaster.

As usual, delivery time was excellent. SuperMediaStore does this consistently. They have earned my repeat business.

Stick with the TYG03 silver laquers

I hate to sound like a broken record but my other review of the Taiyo Yuden 100 pack of TYG03's isn't much different than this one will be. Scans on these aren't as consistent as the Taiyo Yuden discs but they are definitely acceptable. All 3 burners I use do these ok. The PIF results range from 2 to 8. The PIE results range from 14 to 160. The TY branded TYG03 discs were PIF scored 2 across all 3 of my burners and the PIE's were 25 t 30. So as you can see these arent near as consistent as the stock TY brand.

It comes down to this same ole song as the TY branded discs I reviewed, I have around 10 to 12 of these discs that have speckling or scratches in the discs, around the 3 gb mark. I'm just not comfortable with going past that mark for long term data conservation. I don't have a problem with using these speckled or scratched discs cause I come across 3 gb or less of data all the time so I'll be safe in that regards but if I had to fill out these discs, I'd wait till I got more w/o these issues. I will most definitely be buying the Verbatim stamped discs in here from now on.

BTW...SMS processed and shipped these the same day I ordered them. I haven't ever received an order faster than this one. Great service SMS.

excellent media i like the gold finish. all i can say is it is reliable media. if you have never tried this media you should try it once and compare it with what you are using now and i bet you will love it!!!!!!!!!!!
