Good, Reliable Black Ink

There's not much to comment on here except that the PGI-220 ink cartridge provides excellent imaging, in an adequate quantity, at a fair price. As one who has had a bad experience with 3rd party ink cartridges, I'm willing to pay the price premium for original manufacturer's inks.

Avoid generic toner cartridges! The printers can tell and they misbehave!

I have tried generic toner cartridges for two different printer brands and two different generic makers. At best they were intermittent, and usually non-functional.
SuperMediaStore has competitive prices on brand name cartridges - save heartburn and get the right stuff.
