Fantistic quality but don't last long

You cannot go wrong with genuine quality ink and you really need it if you are doing professional work. I have tried replacement cartridges, but they do not look good for professional use (usually the blacks look dark grey and the colors do not punch out). These cartridges do not last as long as I think they should (500 pages is a joke if you are pringing 8X10 photos or using lots of color on DVD labels), but the quality if fantastic. Recently, after printing about 100 color DVD labels, the flesh tones started to turn red so I had to replace the cartridge with a new one. This happened numerous times after printing 100 DVD labels, so it's not that I got a bum cartridge. I admit, I am using a lot of color in my DVD labels, so this could be the reason the ink runs out. Probably better to get printer that uses individual color cartridges, but I just love the quality of my HP printer.

As usual I am satisfied with my purchase from SMS. Good value at a good price and always fast shipping. I tried the refilled cartridges a few times but I do not get as many prints nor the same quality.
