Cable allows file transfer between PCs

Pros: Quality Construction, Easy To Use, Easy To Set Up
Best Uses:

I used the cable to go between a WinXP(SP2) and a WIN98(SE) machine. It allows easy transfer (or viewing/modifying/saving) of files on/from the other PC. It's just like both machines' files exist on both PCs. The instructions were not quite accurate when it came to what would happen when installing the software, but what really took place was even simpler than the instructions led me to believe. No problem there. I do wish the cable were a tad longer - only 6 feet, but it worked with my setup anyway. The SuperMediaStore.com website mentioned MAC on the same page as the product, but the actual product's paperwork and instructions do not mention MAC. The product didn't allow the MAC to see or do anything on either PC. Of course, the MAC didn't have Parallels running Windows or anything similar, so maybe that's the problem there. Basically, it doesn't work with MACs unless you run Windows on the MAC too, but I'm not certain about that working, either. For passing files between PCs though, it's exactly what I was looking for! It's not a network connection (can't use internet across it), but again - that's not its function. For "seeing" files on another PC, it's perfect. And for the price, you can't beat it!
