I have purchased several brands of dual layer media and was often disappointed. FalconMedia DL disc's have been the most reliable. They hold steady in the second half of the burn process and it takes the stress out of burning. Playback is consistent as well, with virtually no returns. I would highly recommend this brand for DL burning.

I bought these discs I never heard of before because the ones I were using kept crapping out on me. Now with these discs along with a new external DVD burner, burning discs is a pleasure. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Value Line To The Pro Series

After doing research these seem to be a sort of Value Line to the Pro versions offered on this site. That's not to say they are bad quality. They give great scans and I haven't had trouble playing a disc yet. They still beat out most DL media out there. If you want the best DVD+R DL then I'd recommend either Verbatim or FTI FalconMedia Pro, but these are your second best option and IMO will most likely beat out anything else at the third spot for consistency, longevity and compatibility.

being accustomed to the quality of Verbatim DL discs, I decided to try these out due to the sheer cost of approx $1/disc of Verbatim's vs these slightly cheaper in cost. They were nearly as well as the Verbatim with slightly QA as I've had 1 in 10 come out as a coaster. That and they have a shiny top half instead of painted/dulled labeling surface. Unless proven otherwise, I'll continue to keep buying these and save some $.
