I have burned Verbatim +DL for over a year on an LG burner on my PC using ImgBurn. I have never had a problem disk with Verbatim +DL as far as a burn, verify or playback on my DVD player. In reading a video forum, an experienced poster raved about these FalconMedia +DL disks and compared them favorably to Verbatim. I figured for $17 for 20 I could give them a shot. I should have been shot for getting suckered.
I was trying to burn a 6.5GB image file. The first 10 disks of the FalconMedia spool failed to write. They could not get past the first 5 seconds and failed because the drive could not set the L0 Data Zone Capacity. Half of the spool dead right off the top - are you kidding me? After the 10th failure of this crap media, I put a Verbatim +DL in the drive. The image burned immediately without problem and verified. I tossed the other 10 FalconMedia disks in the trash. What an absolute waste of time and money. Never again. Stay with Verbatim +DL.
