Maybe it's my printer, but any cheap inks I get just don't work well.

The price of new Epson inks just sucks. It's not just Epson, all of the printer manufacturers make their money not off of printers, but supplies of inks and paper. I've tried to cut cost the last two times I bought ink. (The first time does not refer to this product.) The first time I bought some really cheap 'compatible' cartridges, I printed about ten pages of normal content, not photos, and it was gone. With these cartridges, I'm not not getting any magenta even after cleaning the print heads several times. Now again, maybe it's just my printer, or the last 'really' cheap ink I bought (not from supermediastore) screwed up my printer, but either way I have been really disappointed whenever I didn't use new ink from the manufacturer. Thank goodness I don't need to print that much.
