Find that my printer does not recognize some of the cartridges and they had to be tossed. There are less expensive and better options than these cartridges. Colors seem muted and require a lot of adjustment in PS before saturation is restored compared to Epson carts. Overall, got much better color off my Canon printer but it did not print CDs.

I use an RX500 exclusively for printing photos. I may not turn the printer on for months. A head cleaning or two after a long idle period such as this resolves any banding. This probably occurs with OEM ink, but I use remanufactured ink cartridges from supermediastore.com exclusively. I have printed over thirteen 8 X 10 photos with one set of cartridges. The last cartridges I installed were stored for over 2 years and still work adequately for my personal use.
