I've been using these cartridges for quite some time and they work fine. Some people! You want to save some money, yet you complain when you don't have a ink volume detector. GET UP AND CHECK IT ONCE IN AWHILE! Look at the price, and the ink is fine. So, buy the expensive in cartridges. Better yet, buy the OEM ink cartridges and pay $30 a piece for them.

The only problem is that there is a tiny air-hole so that if you are moving the cartridge around a lot to get the chip in , which you will be, it's easy to spill the ink. Perhaps try taping it first. I haven't had it long enough to comment on ink longevity, but initial output is fine. And the price is much cheaper than a regular cartridge, of course.

This is very easy to install and works well. But turns off ink level detection and also voids warranty on machine. The machine actually warns you and tells you, and tells you that you have to disable the ink level detection.

The product did not work. The instructions did not apply to Mac (which I use) and in any case, the printer refused to recognize the cartridge. Then it started leaking.
