I use these ink cartridges for my Canon Pixma iP4000. They do the trick for everyday use. Photos turn out okay but fade over time. For the price they are a great deal. I usually keep two extra sets of cartridges on hand since they are so cheap. But be sure you get the correct BCI-6 Black cartridge. I made the mistake once and ordered the wrong thing because I just looked at the pictures (there is a similar black cartridge for this printer that is for cleaning the print heads).
