Hard to tell how this drum will perform since I've printed no more than 50 pages thus far. So I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, but if my past history with SuperMediaStore products is any indication, it probably deserves 5 stars. The drum arrived reasonably fast and very well packaged. It was in clean condition and snapped easily into place. It was installed with a new toner cartridge from SMS and I anticipate no problems with either.

An odd occurrence with the purchase though; I thought I was purchasing a toner cartridge, not a drum. Perhaps I was fooled by it being listed with along with toner cartridges. And oddly, the box it was packaged in indicates it is a "laser toner cartridge" as do the instructions within the box. It wasn't until I began to install it that I saw it was actually a drum. Anyway, I decided to keep it since I was still using the original Brother drum - for years - with no problems. I ordered a replacement toner cartridge and all is fine now (although I will hold onto my original Brother drum for a while, just in case).
