*Notes:

  • When connected via USB: If connected to a non-powered USB HUB then external power adapter (included) is required, otherwise this device can be self-powered via the USB port. The USB cable comes with 2 Type A connectors. Use the first connector to establish connection between PC with device and the second connector to draw additional power if/when needed.
  • When connected via eSATA: You can power this device by connecting the USB cable simultaneously to draw power from your PC or you can use the included power adapter. If both interfaces are connected, the drive will be accessed as an eSATA device.
