Apogee HDMI 3x1 Mini Switcher v1.3b Full HD 1080p - 25m Amplified with External IR Receiver+Remote Control
The 3×1 HDMI mini switcher routes high definition video (in multiple resolutions up to 1080p) and digital audio from any one of the three sources to display unit. Three inputs accommodate the simultaneous connection of up to three high definition video sources, such as satellite systems and HD DVD players. The output sends the high definition audio/video signals to a high definition display. Aside from the manual switching, the switching can also done via the IR remote that is provided with the unit for added convenience. The compact design eliminates the bulk of an HDMI switcher while still having the same functionality.

**Note
There is a small plastic insert located in the back of the Apogee HDMI Mini 3-Port Switcher remote that will need to be removed in order for the remote to work properly. I originally bought a Philips HDMI 3 way switch but it didn't work...at all (not even between two Philips products with Philips cables). This one works great. It is small, but feels solid. Switches automatically between sources really well. No complaints at all!

Great for older HD Tv's with one HDMI input

This switch works better that expected. I added a Blu-ray player to my system and had only one HDMI on my Samsung DLP 46" TV. There are three inputs, I set the disk player as the primary input and my Directv as the secondary. The switch is powered by the HDMI cable so when the Sat box is on it can be viewed without switching inputs with the switch, then when the disk player is powered on it automatically switched to the disk player allowing the directv still to be on or off. Works great and best of all no external power supply requiered.

At first I thought it arrived DOA with the inability to send a signal, but I switched DVI-to-HDMI adapters and it magically came to life. Works as intended, autoswitch is great except for when you have 2 devices that are attached on at the same time. Using it for Blu-Ray playback from my PC to TV/HT and I definitely can't complain. Also have a standard DVD player hooked up and can't tell the difference between a direct connection and through the switcher.

Have the output plugged into my TV, a dvd player, a dvd recorder & my computer plugged into the switcher & it works perfectly, no signal degradation that I can see. Very simple to use & set up...if you run out of hdmi ports on your tv, get this because it's an inexpensive way to increase them & IT WORKS.
