They are fine for the money. My only complaint is that the caps can be stuck on the rear end when its in use but they aren't held solidly so they fall off easy. They will get lost. I have no frame of reference to compare the transfer speed.

Dosn't work with Windows ME despite claims to the contrary; crashes the OS every time you connect or disconnect. Buggy. Problematic enough to be unusable on older systems even 'tho it will store data with enough effort. (I have found another brand that does work; just limited to 4G.)
