- Self-termination: For those input ports not in-use, the switch has special design to let those unused ports to self-terminated with 75-ohm load. It is good for signal protection form outside interference.
- In order to have the best performance, please check that Input and Output component Video format is the same. (Y Pb Pr or Y Cb Cr)
- Component Video cables and connectors are normally color-coded. Please make sure the connection is correct.

handles passthru 720 and 1080i w/no signal loss. I live in lightning prone area, and have to replace switch about once a year. Ist unit I bought has loose connection inside, had to bang unit now and then. Bought 2nd as replacement for that reason. No data offered in box as to maker or service/repair source
