Efficient, fragile, top handle is a pain! (can't stack)

This case is very effective, economical (cheap), with the exception of the handle on top that makes it impossible to put another case on top of it.

The hanging sleeves with the numbers are awesome.

I would love to have the option to pay thirty or forty dollars more for the same case made of real aluminum and with the rivets finished off cleanly. I will be using these for decades so it would be worth the extra cost. Presently no such option exists that I could find.

convenient but will not hold 390 cds/dvds

Be prepared that this case will not hold the number of disks listed. However, we purchased 5 of these cases to house our 1500 disk collection. Ended up purchasing a 600 disk case in this same style because they wouldn't all fit in the 5 cases we purchased. My rating on the price is because these cases were on sale for $26 each so they were a great bargain. Purchased the 600-disk case because it was a better bargain at that time since the sale had ended. You will need some time to pull out the plastic perforated pieces to insert the disk. Some may not be perforated all the way. I cut some out but then just said to heck with it and left them whole. Sleeves will hold 2 disks, 2 booklets, and 2 track listings from the back-most section of the jewel cases.

Don't get confused, the black panels are not aluminum...but with the aluminum reinforced edges and corners this is a sturdy case. The included dividers are a bonus as the other cases I looked at you buy those seperatly. Also, can't beat the shipping costs!
