Review of Verbatim DataLifePlus White Inkjet Hub Printable 16X DVD-R Media 100 Pack in Plastic Wrap

I use this product a lot for our local cable TV channel and re-order whenever you feature this product at a sale price and free shipping. Very few disks are rejected.

We have used the 8x version of this product with no problems but when switching to the 16x version we encountered video errors.

I burned about 15 DVD's using different authoring programs and burn speeds trying to figure out what was going wrong. Every disc burned would have some sort of video artifacting/skipping at numerous points on the disc. I tried playing it on two different DVD players with the same result. Playing it on the computer worked just fine with no errors. I finally tried burning the same project with a couple other brands. This time the video played flawlessly on the DVD players with the other brands.

Both DVD players were at least five years old so you may have no problem with newer ones but we have thousands of customs so we need the most compatible solution we can find.

I have been buying Verbatim for over a year now and I love them. I have been using them on my PC and my home DVD burner with no problems. I love being able to print directly onto the disc. Since I saved the cases from previous purchases, Getting these only make good sense to refile them. I highly recommend these.

very good discs at a good price

I have run about 200 of these through a Bravo disc duplicator, and have had no errors.

The discs come shrink-wrapped without a spindle or other effort to protect, a true 'bulk' shipment. But I'm not really convinced that spindles do anything anyway, they and the foam washers wouldn't really help if the shipment was on a severly bouncy truck anyway.

Keep old 100 pack spindles around, so that you can put these discs on those empty ones, just for convenienc as these discs are wrapped in poly and when opened, have a tendency to spill.

I've had problems in the past with other DVDs, but Verbatim has given me the best consistent results. Hub-printable DVDs can be expensive, but at $29/100 of these, this is a great bargain. And as usual with the Verbatim's, I've burned over 100 of these since I received them and the verification process has gone through without a hitch.

We've been using these discs for a couple of years to record our church services. It's nice to be able to write on them to record time,etc. and we've never had any trouble with them. We went through several brands with a different recorder and Verbatim always worked. A good price for a good product.

A bit pricey from some other sites but wanted to buy in bulk this time with other products. Would buy from other company who is cheaper if I only need the DVD's

works like a charm in my Epson Artisan printer. can't tell from original. would and will do business again. A++++ buy you won't be sorry.

I always use the verbatim DVD-R's and out of the spool that I just purchaced I only had 1 coaster. That was actually my first one after about 1000 discs. So I give it a 99.999999%

i have always used pro disc (spinx) in the past with excellent results maybe one or two bad disc out of 100.when i saw the verbatim disc on sale for less than the pro disc i decided to order them.verbatim was a leader in the media industry back when i used the floppy disc in the days of the commodore computers.i have used about 35 of the 100 i ordered and have already had to scrap 6 disc.just another example of a big company trying to raise the profit margin at any cost including quality.what a shame.

VERBATIM IS GOOD

I've used just about every brand of DVD media out there and have had the least amount of 'coasters', with Verbatim. I have been creating DVD movies since 1999 and I have found the early blank media that I purchased then have had issues when I play them today, they drop out, they 'freeze' and stop, they revert back to the beginning just all kinds of troubles. I got married in 2003 and used a Verbatim DVD-R that came in a heavy plastic case. After experiencing many failures of my creations I worried that the one and only record of our wedding in Las Vegas would have the same problems. So, I played it and it was flawless, I took note of the brand and have been a faithful user ever since. I stopped gluing paper labels to them when I read that that could lead to 'wobble' and distortion as the laser reader got further to the outside perimeter. That's when I bought a printer that could ink jet right on a DVD. Now I only use Verbatim that is printable to the HUB. I have been very happy since then. They play good and they look good and they don't get hung-up in a slot loading DVD player

Been using Verbatims for a long time and have had great success with them. Honestly, I haven't burned any from this order yet, but expect that the quality will be what I'm accustomed to. And if it's not -- I'll come back and say so!

As for Supermediastore, I found their service to rank with other top-notch online stores in terms of ordering ease, price and delivery. (Free!)One thing that surprised and impressed me was that I received an email telling me that my order had been delivered. While this may not seem to be a big deal, it beats constantly checking a tracking number when you're away from home on the scheduled delivery date. Knowing when it's arrived allows you to alert someone you know to pick it up or take it into the house for you, should there be inclement weather or possibility of theft.

I have used this product several times and am very pleased with it, it has better compatability and quality than most name brand media. I will use this product again in the future and highly recommend it for your DVD media needs.
