Review of Verbatim LightScribe 52X CD-R Media 700MB 300 Pack in Cake Box (96164)

I haven't had a coaster from these in over 150 CDs. The only drawback may be the fact that they are so shiny on both sides it is hard to determine which is which. You have to look closely at the stamped lettering on the hub. It is readable on the top side and backwards on the write side.

I was thoroughly satisfied with the entire transaction. Would rate an A+.

Even tho I have not actually tried these, I am sure they will meet my expecations. They do NOT say on the label that they contain Verbatim's high quality ink that SOME of their CDs contain, I think they call it Azu or something simular. I have been making CDs since the early 1990s and todays cheap CD-ROMs are better than the best CD-ROMs from back then. JB2wheeler

Verbatim is the best!

Haven't used any yet, but Verbatim generally makes high quality stuff. Price and delivery were great.

My first try with a lightscribe disc and I was happy with the results.

Coasters are a thing of the past with these discs. Only two, or three bad CD burns out of maybe 1,000 to date. No skips, distortion hash... I've never measured error rates, myself, but I have not had one disc rejected by a duplicating house either.

The only thing I wish was better is that there were higher contrast between text and background of the lightscribe surface.
