Normally use JVC Taiyo Yuden, but the sale price was so good I ordered these instead. After all, I only use Verbatim +DL and have never have had any coasters so figured these were the same name brand so probably would be just as good.

I've been using Verbatim for years. I've found they're a rock solid product. I've tried different brands in the past, and every once in a while I'd get a bad batch where just as much media failed to burn as successfully burned. That has never happened to me using Verbatim.

On this order, I was attempting to order White inkjet discs with a NON-Printable Hub. I have more than enough hub-printable discs. I have since ordered the correct item although I have not received it yet. I'm sure that I have ordered the right one this time. It is a Verbatim disc. I used to be able to buy Rydata and others with 40mm non-printable hubs. I will be using fewer of these in the future but it is nice to know that I can still order one.

These disc used to be a lot stronger. They are so thin and lighter than they once were. I'm afraid that the layers will start seperating in the years to come. However I've never had any data or defective disc problems and I've ordered plenty of this item.

I had to return the -R DVD's and ordered the same thing in the +R format. I have used several hundreds of Verbatim +R dvd white hub print and cd-r silver hub-print. I can count onone hand the number of defective blanks and a couple of them was from my error.

For years I have been buying Verbatim media from your store. You ship fast and free and I can order and forget it. However, the last three shipments have cost me untold hours in terms of media that would not duplicate, would not load after duplication, attempts to load but stops the process, etc. Then, the really bad one is all the ones that the duplicator SAY passed but really haven't. I have to place every single DVD in the player and check that the media can load. I have a failure rate of about ten percent. Needless to say, I am looking for a more reliable product!!

I prefer the white hubless for obvious reasons. You can't bet price especially if shipping costs become a concern. You may find cheaper prices on Buy.com, but CHECK THE SHIPPING OPTIONS, your paying considerabley more.

I have a recorder that only takes 8x discs and these work great. I was a little cautious about purchasing 50 discs and not knowing if they would work, but I recommend the Verbatim Datalife Plus for anyone who still wants to hang on to usable 8x recorders.

I've been using this Verbatim DVD for years now. Has always been the best.
The Verbatim watermark that, in the past, could be read right around the disc center is gone. This leads me to believe that this good-old-media might be changed. I hope it is as good as in the past.
I'll be burning a couple of hundred over the next month or so and I'll let you know if the same great quality is there..........

I've been a Verbatim CD & DVD user since 2000. I've tried several other brands and found them to sometimes work/sometimes not-but the Verbatim comes through for me time and time again. I always get the DataLife Plus line to ensure the highest Verbatim quality. I used these discs for digital photo archives and data storage/back up. The inket surface produces a beautiful image using an Epson Inkjet printer with disc printing capabilities. I love using Verbatim Data Life Plus discs. I feel like I am giving my customers a solid long lasting product. The only bad thing about these discs is that the hub is a lighter white than the rest of the disc. Other than that I get very few coasters from these packs and I use a lot! of discs.

I do not have a disc printer and ordered these discs simply because they were the cheapest disc available at the moment. They are a good disc, identical to typical Verbatims. My issue with them was the printable top. I write on my discs with markers and these discs ate marker ink like no other. With one 50 pack, it nearly drained a sharpie. Probably will not be using these again

This discs are great! I've burned about 35 so far and no coasters. Out of those I've had two with a small scratch on the white printing surface. That's about the only "problem" - albeit minor - I've had. These are the first "hub printable" discs I've used. So I had to adjust my Epson printer to print all the way into the hub. It took a couple of tries but now I'm printing studio quality labels on my discs. I have noticed that there seems to be deeper blacks when printing on Ridata discs. Not an issue for me.

In my previous 2 posts on the JVC/Taiyo Yuden Discs I had no issues with the burn quality, it was the scratches all over the discs and dust and fingerprints. Quality control doesnt seem to exist anymore. I stand corrected though with these Verbatim's. These were just beautiful discs to see and burn. Equal or better error scans than the TY discs. If your like me and never burn past 8x, grab these, you won't be disappointed. Thanx for these SMS...great price and super fast shipping.

Just as the summary said - everything is good about this product. I have not had the opportunity to test longevity of the paint layer, but this DataLifePlus is supposed to provide superior longevity. The AquaGloss version of the Verbatim disks has a better, glossier surface, but is quite a bit more expensive.

These DVD's offer the option of printing all the way to the hole.. Epson printers are good for this. The 8x I have found to be compatable with all players. only had two not play out of over 600 and over several years.. Highly recommend this product and this company. Fast delivery great price.

These disks would not work in any of my 6 burners. Defective product was returned after several contacts with Verbatim which determined that it was a faulty product. Supermediastore was quick about the refund and we have started using Tyuden's in our video production business.

Disappointing change in product

I've been using these DVD's for the past few years and have always been very happy. This recent batch however has something new. Around the hub at the center of the DVD is wording in the form of the Verbatim logo and "DVD-R 8x". The point of buying clean white dvd's to print on is that they are supposed to be clean, as in a blank canvas. Unfortunately for this particular product Verbatim decided to put their signature on it, compromising the professionalism of my end product.
