I have used about 250 of these disc so far (3 different orders). None have been returned from customers. I burned 150 or so on a Pioneer 218l, never had a problem. That burner died recently and burned 60 on a Sony 5280S at 8X, made 2 coasters out of the 60. Seem to be good discs.

Not only were they falsely advertised as 8x writing speed and were only capable of 2.4x as indicated by my writing software, but out of 18 discs used (at 2.4x speed), only 2 burned successfully. Had no problems with previous DL brands on same DVD writers. Tried to return the remaining 32 future coasters and the return was rejected. Well I've had no problems with Supermediastore before, but you guys can shove those you know where. They were falsely labeled AND defective.

Tried several times burning a couple of dvd files using different computers and ended up with a bunch of coasters. I then tried to burn the same files with another brand of double layer discs and it worked. This then proved to me that all the discs in this Titan Duplication Pack is probably defective or just hardly compatible with most optical drives. Will be returning the remainder of the pack for an exchange or refund!

These generally do okay for me as long as I keep the burn speeds down to 4x or 6x. Had a coaster here and there at higher rates, but I generally am not in a hurry anyway. So the lower speed is no hassle. Overall a good buy - especially when you look at what TY discs are costing these days.

As of right now I had to make 20 copies of an event and of the 20, I had 7 that had disc errors. I dont know if its the quality of the discs or that when you have a certain number there are guaranteed to be a few that mess up.

The product was delivered quickly, although at the end of the on-line ordering process I was informed that a confirmation e-mail would be sent and it never was.

I have just had seven failed burns in a row, all in the second layer.

I used the slowest burn speed (4X) available in my drive.

I have not had this problem with any other disc brands, and I have used several.

Great quality product at an amazing price. Bottom of case was cracked, but no biggy all discs worked well. Box packaging was great, (except the bottom of DVDs but I had bought jewel cases too)

Previously used a well known name brand that cost much more and learned with them the secret is burning at the slowest speed available. An affordable risk worth taking

Although I haven't had a perfect track record with the Titan DVD+DL discs, there have been no instances that I can attribute the rare burn failure to the discs, directly.
I can only say that during a complex conversion/burn operation I have had one or two burn failures out of several hundred burn attempts with these disks. Overall, it's about the same record I have with the other brands I've used.

I've usually been able to avoid these issues by doing the conversion to my hard drive and then doing a simple burn operation with the converted files. Excellent discs, from my experience.

Delivery was only flawed by Smartpost being the only affordable option, which means virtually no tracking, and a notable slow-down when USPS takes over their part of the delivery.

Using Samsung Writemaster DVD burners I found while I could burn these at 8x with no problem the burn looked physically cleaner and more even at 6x and even much better still at 4x. I burned 40 copies of an image with no problems, but of course I stuck to 4x.

Using an epson R280 I found the dimensions to be 23mm x x118mm for the print size.

This is my second pack of Titam DL discs. I had been using regular discs to copy long programs, and there was always quite a bit of compression to fit everything onto the disc. Now it fits at 100% quality. Out of the previous fifty discs I bought, fifty copied without a problem.

Wow, these discs are the best value for your money! They print very nicely and burn pretty reliably. I've lost only a couple to bad burns, but I'm not sure if it was the disc or a software glitch. Either way, at a rate of maybe 1 out of a hundred, I'm okay with that. Note, I've had different results with different burners. Currently using ASUS, with no problems.

These Titans dual layers are priced right but not reliable. No where near as reliable as their single layer.

As usual, great prices and quick shipping. The downside with these Titan dual layers was that about 20% of them have been coasters. I have two dual layer burners that are both nearly new and have roughly an equal number of failures on both burners. I used to use Taiyo Yuden DL's and had no failures with them ever. I'll be returning to them.

Like I said, you get what you pay for. Theses disk are good as long as you don't go past 4x. I use ImgBurn for my 360 "backups". 5 of 6 were coasters at 8x or MAX. I saw the other review but couldn't past up on the price. I would return them, but too lazy to go through the motions even tho I know SM has a good rep on returns. Will use until gone. BUY THESE ONLY IF you don't mind burning at 4x or less. I tried to save a few buxs, which I have, but only if you don't mind waiting on the 4x burn... Oh and the print w/ Artisan710 look damn good. So in shorts, buy these, burn (@4X), wait... wait... wait, print & play... LOL

These Titan DVD blank printables failed at the rate of 3 out of 4 disks tried. I am using a MacPro system, has a Pioneer (I think) disk burner. Other brand of dl disks (Nexxtech) have all performed right, so problem was these Titans. I should have read the reviews at SMStore's website, which were generally not favorable to Titans, altho with a certain combination of computer and burner, they could (possibly--tho I don't suggest it) work fine for others.

SMStore refunded my payment with no problem, am trying other brand of dl printable disks from them (Ridata)... More later.

Given there are not a lot of choices when it comes to dual layer DVDs The Titan brand is reliable and noticably less expensive than the Falcon Media brand I was using. I would have given the quality a 4 but there is a 1/4" ring around the center of the disk that is more transparent than the rest of the disk which is not as aesthetically pleasing as the Falcon Media brand which has solid coverage over the entire printable surface of the disk.

TITAN disks had a price tag that was hard to pass up, so I tood a chance on them. And I was positively amazed with the quality, my first pack not one coaster, the quality was very good. I have been using Titan DL for some time now. I am very happy. The price is good too. I would recommend them to anyone who is not ready to make the leap to BLu-ray yet. I would like to see a 12x or 16x DL disk come out. I am using Nero 9 with no compression.

I bought these fully aware that they would work on only one of my burners. I still use the Verbatim 8xDL for my initial file burning and the Titans for back-up. Don't expect too much compatibility from these discs and they could be a good option for back-ups.

It's Ok. Especially for the Price

Prints nicely and the price per disc is great. That's the best I can say for these Titans. However, I'm having problems with burn errors. I've been using Verbatim DL with much better reliability. Titan offered a hub printable DL at a lower cost. Believe me, I wanted Titan to perform better then it's doing so far. Verbatim DL has a success rate that isn't at a 100%, but it's been very good over the years, at probably well in the upper 90%. Titan has not been as reliable. So far, I've gotten 3 discs that have not completed burning successfully, and that's in the first 12 burns. Rated at 8X, I thought I'd try burning at 6X to see if that would help. Nope, one more bad disc. I still want these to work, they are priced better. Hopefully I just got a bad batch. I will comment again if things swing for the better. For now, however, the jury is still out.

I'm pleased with this product -- it's reliable, inexpensive and with good printing surface (hub printable!!!)
I'm surprised at all the other reviews that complain about these disks not working in their drives and yet nobody specify brand / model of the drives so people can get a better idea!
So, in my case 2 out 3 drives that I have DO NOT like these disks and will most definitely produce a coaster. First drive is “TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H652D”; second – “NEC DVD_RW ND-3540A”. After making 2 coasters I now use my HP drive “DH16AAL” – it works PERFECT with these disks and burns them with 8x speed!

First DV9 disc 8.5GB 8X DVD+R I burned will play alright in my stand alone DVD player but not in my computer from the very burner that created it. New burner and never had this problem before. Need more Testing.

I used two of these discs and they are perfect. No problems with my DVD players playing this discs. I am very pleased to be able to print a nice label on them, using my Epson Printer that is DVD printing capable. As usual, Supermedia Store has great products for their customers at unbeatable prices. They are also great in shipping their merchandise on time. I am so lucky to be one of their customers.

I've been using expensive Verbatim double layer discs for years now to backup games and media. I saw the price of this and figured I'd give it a shot. I have burned about 25 of these and so far no coasters, no issues whatsoever. They actually burn at 4X, unlike verbatim which I have to burn at 2.4X to get a working disc and not a coaster. Also, these are the only discs which are hub printable as Verbatim has a white core. I would recommend these to anyone as a viable option over Verbatim or any other expensive media to save yourself some money without sacrificing on quality.

first 7 out of 14 disc were a fail burn not going to ever re-buy these type thought i would try something new bad idea after a while had another 4 out of 10 again fail burned must of got a bad batch

SuperMediaStore is really a super store, but the Titan double layer discs are total crap. Two tries at copying produced unreadable discs. Not willing to waste any more time on these. Just hoping I can get the money back.

So far, every one of these has worked fine. They also print great on my Epson, photo ink-jet printer. I also like the small hub (22-mm inner diameter), which allows for a larger printing area.
