I read the reviews on several dual layered blank media and this product had good reviews and was decently priced. However, I have had way more discs NOT work then work. I have had to throw out most of them and am getting quite frustrated with this product. I will never buy TDK again.

These just do not work. They seem to write OK, but on playback, it's just snow, digital dots, and hang ups. I'm going back to my tried and true, Verbatum +R DL disks.

Dollar vs. storage area, DL discs have yet to become a better value than single layer. But for those times when you need a DL disc for games or movies, these aren't a bad alternative to higher priced ones from Verbatim or TY. I always try to burn these at 4x, 'cause I'm never in that big of a hurry. Haven't had a bad one yet.

If your looking for high quality DVD+R DL discs these are incredible. Fast burn, high quality and great low price. Only thing I would recommend is make sure your DVD player has a strong HDMI Cable such at Monster or AudioQuest.

I bought a 50-pack of these as well as a 25-pack (to back up some TV shows) and out of the entire 25-pack and a few of the 50-pack I've used so far, only 3 or so had to be thrown out due to a bad burn or some type of damage already present on the disc. So, not perfect but definitely not bad either!

I ordered a small quantity of these for our technical department to ensure that they worked in older and newer burners before we decided to standardize on one brand of DL media. So far, we haven't encountered any problems so it looks like we will use this product as our standard brand. Since we are a data recovery company and we use these to burn large customer files, it is essential that the burn go successfully so it can be read both by us and the customer.

These are relabeled Ritek S04's, but for whatever reason they are much better (far fewer coasters) and more consistent batch-wise. (Maybe the quality control is much higher for the discs coming off the TDK lines? FYI, the Memorex 8x dual-layers are ALSO relabeled Ritek S04's, but their QC isn't as good as the TDKs - even on Memorex's new series.) The only discs I've found that are better are Verbatims, but you pay for that extra quality. I use the TDKs for my every day needs and the Verbatims when I need the very best.

Have purchased 2 spindles so far. 1st spindle had about 10 coasters but I believe it was due to a software setting in Imgburn. 2nd spindle has yielded no coasters yet. All successfully burned disks have worked in various DVD/BD players without any problems. Fast shipment and decent price from SuperMediaStore. Will continue to purchase these disks in the future.

I use Dual Layer DVDs to back up media shot on a pro video camera, and until this order I used Verbatim discs exclusively. I decided to give the TDKs a try since they were about half the price of the Verbatim discs and I was blown away! They burn twice as fast, cost half as much, and I haven't had a single failed burn yet! Get these!

I got these thinking all blank media was basically the same. Boy was I wrong. So far more than half the discs I've tried burning have been bad. I though I was saving money, but with half of them being bad I'm actually spending more. I do NOT recommend this brand.

I've been using these for quite some time and have found them to be of very good quality and decently priced. I've burned very few coasters with these TDKs. These are basically rebranded Ritek S04s, but I've had far fewer problems with these compared to the Riteks AND these are usually less expensive. Go figure....

I have a Sony DW-G120A burner and its updated with the latest firmware. I tried 5 disks and all became coasters. Tried a backup thru itunes (2x) and tried to burn an image using nero (3x). I used one of my last verbatim disks and had no problem. Price was good and delivery was great but unfortunately product just did not work for me.

I have never bought TDK brands in the past for my blank media but I thought I would give them a try since the price was reasonable. These discs are comparable to Memorex Dual Layers and so far have no coasters. They play great smooth and very fluid on my DVD player. I would highly reccomend these and will buy more in the future.

I have used these in the past when they have been on sale. I was using Memorex disc as they still seem to be the cheapest. I typically did not have any major problems with the Memorex disc but I found a run of them that my Samsung burners simply did not like. Since no one list the run before you buy them I didn't want to by another 50 disc that I could not use. I have not had any coasters yet with these discs and no problems playing them.

These are Ritek disks but branded TDK. The first six disks I tried to burn all failed. And this was tried using both Sony and Pioneer DVD DL optical drives at the rated speed of 8X, as well as 6X and 2.4X. Both these drives work perfectly using Verbatim DL disks, so I am going back to them, regardless of price considerations. They are worth the higher cost because they do not fail. Avoid Ritek disks like the plague.
