Love Taiyo Yuden (Only)

I'd rather pay twice as much for Taiyo Yuden than anyone else's product. I have felt that way for years, seriously. Never a bad burn and they don't die with age. At least that's been my personal experience.

High quality with no coasters!

Great product at a truly great price. Burned 77 out of a hundred discs so far and not a single coaster. Taiyo Yuden are still made in Japan and still at the top when it comes to blank media. I also made a few of the DVD+R's at 12x speed and no probs. They are rated up to 8x, which is pretty quick. My overall score: 5 out of 5.

Rarely if ever do I get a bad disc from Taiyo Yuden, and they burn fast and play perfectly. Very pleased, and I re-order the same discs every time I run out.

I've been using the Taiyo Yuden CDs & DVDs for many years. They are constantly reliable and perform exceptionally well. While other brands may or may not read/write in some fussy drives, the Taiyo Yuden always seems to come through for me.

Taiyo Yuden T02 printable media are great not one coaster so far I have been using T02 for years. The only brand that comes close are Verbatims Data Life Plus

Great Source for Taiyo Yuden DVD disks

These are my favorite blank disks. Very low failure rate and I love the matt white surface. I don't print to them, but it is a great surface for my sharpie notes.
My only real negative is the the search and find function at SuperMediaStore could be improved.

Play back the dvd no problem with a computer and many different brand of dvd players.
Among 22 burned dvd, all disks were OK.

I only buy Taiyo Yuden for recording. It's rare to have a Taiyo Yuden 'fail' (other brands seem to have at least several that fail..and end op as coasters). Great DVD at a great price at Supermedia.
