I have used the Super Talent 16GB Pico C USB Flash Drive for over a year with flawless results. When SuperMediaStore recently put it on sale; I had to have another. The drive performs perfectly in the 8 different PCs that I normally use at work and home.

Tini Size With Large Capacity

Worked flawlessly out of the box. I'm using it to store MP3 music to play with my car stereo. Although it functions perfectly, it runs a bit hot to the touch.

I have the 8G version and it works well, in some computers the unit will take a while to register but all in all a very good drive. I keep it on my key chain, it stands up very well to abuse and the size and price can't be beat.

This little flash drive does what it's supposed to do, it's only drawback being its tiny size which is one of the reasons I bought it but now I'm afraid it'll be too easily lost. It works fine though, and is an economical purchase.

I was surprised at the size of this little flash drive but was really impressed with its performance. It is the perfect size to slip on to your keychain. Being waterproof is also a great added feature. Well worth the price. As always, SuperMediaStore comes through!

Small and durable

This is my second Super Talent flash drive. I carried the 8G version for nearly a year. The size is very convenient and the metal case is very durable. I have had flash drives that have pieces that break off, but this is not one of them! If I had to give it low marks for something, I suppose it would be in speed. It is a bit slow and thus I am unable to make a bootable Linux drive out of it. Drive is great for storing lots of data but a bit slow (but usable) when running PortableApps. I'll probably get the 32G once it goes on sale for a price I can't refuse!!

Great for USB enabled car stereos

I have been using the first one of these I ordered in my newest car radio that has a front panel USB connector and have had great fun carrying all my CD music everywhere I go. So this time I ordered 2 more to use around the house and to/from work. In the car I leave the drive plugged in all the time and the open connector has me a little careful of losing the data on this drive. The small physical size is the best thing about this drive as it is less likely to get hit in the car than any other drive. Time will ell if the drive will continue to perform, but I am having a great time with it now.

As a computer forensic examiner I need to move large amounts of data and got tired of several smaller flash drives rattling around in my pocket. This drive holds what I need in one package. Very happy and it is nice to know that it can go through the laundry and keep on kicking:-) Don't ask how I know!

Not as fast as 200X made it sound like

So I wonder what 200X is benchmark against. I have a 10 year old USB stick by memorex and it got about 1.5M/0.9M read/write, while the Super Talent benchmarked at 30M/9.0M read/write. So what is 200X compared to? Something made in the 1920's?
The memory is faster than what my old memory gets, and in general I am pretty happy with the performance, the size made it super easy to have it on my key chain and since its water proof, (No I dont go swimming with it), but it is safe to walk around in the rain.
Only downsize was, the package came in in an envelope that made me feel if something heavy was sitting on top, I might be RMA'ing this item than writing a review. But thats supermediastore.com's problem. I also wish they have a larger size, maybe a 32GB or 64GB, at 60MB/30MB read write. The 200X is just way too mis-leading of speed.

I love the tiny size! Fits nicely on a keychain. Would also make a nice necklace. They should sell a model with a monogram or jewel! Read/Write speed comparable to much larger flash drives.

Small, slow, doesn't fit every USB slot.

This is a neat little piece of equipment. It appears to be very well made and is small enough to carry most anywhere. The problem is that the speed leaves something to be desired. The read speed is adequate but the write speed is slow. Also, despite what some reviewers have attributed to ineptitude on the uses part, this does not fit in all USB slots. I have a new MacBook Air 2010 and it will not fit in the slot. It will fit in my MacBook pro but it is tight. I had to use a short USB extension on the MacBook Air. Since I bought it specifically for that computer, it is pretty much useless to me.

So tiny and well made... have absolutely no problems with it fitting into my USB slot. Like the design... no cap to lose or moving parts to break which has happened with my other flash drives.

Great in every aspect except speed

Physical size is perfect. Keychain loop is sturdy (the eyelet on my last drive broke off). Small chain to attach to keychain is nice. Overall the drive feels solid an d I expect it to last a long time.
The only downside is the read and write speed--especially the write. If you want a drive to do a quick nightly backup to then choose something else. BUT... If you want a drive for tons of data and/or utilities that you use sporadically then this is the drive for you. No other drive has the combination of small size and sturdiness that this one does.

This is the best for playing music in USB car radios

I bought these very small size thumb-drives intending to use them in my new car radio that has a front panel USB connector. I downloaded almost all of my CD disks with about 7 GB to spare. I figured that they would make the obstruction sticking out of the front of the car radio minimal and they do. So far, I have left my first thumb-drive in the radio without problems and it really helps to keep from breaking something (or getting in the way) in the car without a hint of a problem. The real acid test will be next summer when it gets hot and the drive may not like that, but so far no hint of a problem after the initial full drive formatting.

I Love this Flashdrive

I bought from supermediastore 4 Super Talent Pico Flash Drives (three by 8GB and 1 of 16 GB) they all are working purfectly fine.
But not long ago I bought 16 GB PICO Flash from enother website and it came corrupted. First time I loaded full flashdrive but most of files happened to be corrupted. After that it could be loaded only on 4GB of data.
I've been thinking a wile before ordered same 16 GB PICO but at this time from from supermediastor. I am using it for three weeks and it is good. Now I ordered one more as a gift for my friend's son. Sure he'll like it.
