I ordered these cases to organize my Game Boy/Color/Advance games, knowing that I would have to modify them. The actual cutting is fairly easy, as the plastic is very soft. However, the cases themselves have rough edges, and the hinges are weak. Once you open it, it flops around, and the plastic that holds the cover is very loose. A decent purchase, but I wish they were just a little bit better.

Excellent replacement cases and quite a deal for those buying in bulk for either DS cases or to use for GBA, GBC, GB, and GG games!

Decent.

For holding loose DS games, these work. These are noticeably darker (as the description states they are black) than the Nintendo counterparts (which are grey). They are also inferior in quality. If you're using them to case your GBA games, there is a piece of plastic on the instruction book flap that runs along the top of the case and will prevent the case from closing as it presses against the cartridge. You will have to modify the case. Because the material was flimsy, this is easy enough to do with a utility knife and some wire snips. Snip the two sides, and score the plastic where it connects at the case. This should allow you to fold and pull the piece right out.

Amazing Price, but doesn't fit GBA correctly.
By Aaron on 01/09/2012
These cases are overall good. The quality isn't as great as Nintendo first party brand DS cases, but there price is unbeatable. Here's my main complaint, it doesn't fit GBA correctly. If you put a Gameboy Advance game in this case it will not close correctly. Why wasn't this tested during the devolvement process? This is a pretty big flaw. If they would move the GBA slot down a half inch this would have been a non-issue. Pretty crazy oversight. If you’re using this product strictly for DS games then you should have no problem. I'm hoping they'll fix this simple mistake for GBA owners in the future.
