paper is too thin and slick, and some edges not glued well.

I don't like these envelopes as much as some others that I previously bought from another company. These consist of a very thin, slick paper, and some of the edges, where it is folded over, are a bit wavy, as they are not glued down smoothly. I prefer a heavier paper, with more texture, which makes it more durable, easier to write on with an ink pen, and provides better protection for the DVD. The description says "85 gram," but I didn't realize how thin that was until I got the item. However, at 4-cents each, the price is excellent.

This economical solid envelope without the window serves my purpose best, since I have a uniform area upon which to write notes pertaining to the disk contents. Far cheaper than buying locally!

The paper is lightweight but it needs to be for printing. Where sleeves with round windows get caught in my inkjet printer, these do not and they're cheaper. A great find! Thanks SMS.

I wish the price was lower. The first time I bout this product I spent 20.00 for 1000 sleeves. Now i have to pay 35.00 for the same thing. I wish the price would go down to the 20 or 22.00 price range again. Shipping is great(always free). I hope price goes back Down or ill start seeing if I can find the same thing somewhere else.

These sleeves are the same quality as all of the others (as best as I can determine) except they have no window through which to see the DVD or CD. Since they are also much less expensive, I recommend them for storage where labeling can be done directly on the sleeve itself.
