Good price, but not as sturdy and commercial Jewel Cases

I moved all my CDs to a 400 CD folder a long time ago, selling off the jewel cases. After some of the CDs were damaged, I decided to replace all those jewel cases and I bought these because of the price. They are a good value and all of them survived shipping, with some having small chips that did not effect the usefulness of the case. BUT they are not as sturdy as the jewel cases you find audio CD's packaged in. They feel softer, flimsier and lighter. The cases don't snap closed as well. But these were 50% cheaper than the same style jewel case from anther site i go to.
Super Media Store did a great job shipping the cases and, again, the cases are a good value for the price.

They look like nice sturdy trays. Haven't used any yet. A few were broken when they arrived but that is to be expected having been sent across the country.

The only down side is these are fragile. Brittle really. Otherwise they are what they are... Not much can be said except they are good enough for a first run when testing markets. I would consider a higher quality case if the audio project was to take off.
But then, today many products are getting cheaper and cheaper in the overall quality of items like these. I do not know if there are better quality CD jewel cases anymore...
I would and will buy these again for the same purpose; market testing on a budget.

Finally! Jewel cases from all too many sources are either too difficult to open (i.e. remove the middle to insert a tray card) or just crack upon the attempt.
These open easily.
Unfortunately, a few are cracked right out of the box. This is probably due to the shipper. Won't deter me from ordering more from SMS when I need them.

For 10.4 MM plastic I expected these to be better quality--they are brittle and flimsy. A handful were broken in the double boxed case. Price and delivery excellent but doesn't meet my standards...

Nice to receive the jewel cases intact (they often come broken from other suppliers) and nice to be able to remove the inner section to insert a tray card, without having to "fight" with the jewel case.

I was not sure about buying 100 jewel cases because I only needed about 10. However, I was very pleased with the purchase and the quality of the shipping. I was afraid that there would be broken jewel cases but with all the extra padding, everything was perfect.

These clear jewel boxes are not as strong as say the Memorex ones in stores (Kmart) The price per 100 or should be under $30 for this quantity. Otherwise a good case.

The price is almost unbeatable and the delivery was pretty quick. The cases were a little bit flimsy-feeling, but none were broken on arrival and I haven't broken one yet. If you want a more robust case, then buy more expensive ones, but for the bulk cheap order, these are great.

Here is an okay CD case. The clear tray is great for when you'd like to add text or graphics to the inside. The case itself, however, is just average in quality. It tends to hang when opening and feels flimsy. The price is right though with Supermedia's larger quantity bundles.

My order was for 100 standard jewel cases for CDs. The delivery was free and fast. Although the UPS driver loudly dumped the box at our door, the packing withstood this treatment. To my surprise, there were no broken items at all.
With these jewel cases it seem to be easier to remove the inner tray (for insertion of back cover art) than with the Memorex cases I got elsewhere. That's an unexpected bonus. I will be ordering more of these cases when I run out. I recommend this item to anyone.

These cases were purchased to store my acrylic stamps. They will hold stamps on both sides of the case once you remove the inner disk holder. I'm not certain if supermediastore.com has the case without the disk holder, but it wasn't difficult to disassemble.
They were well packaged and only 2 of the 100 were damaged. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

This is a good quality jewel case and I really like the clear trays! I ordered 100 but 10 of them were broken in shipping. I know I can return them but didn't want the bother for less than $4 worth of jewel cases. I always lose a few during shipping no matter who I order from. A better way of packing the box corners needs to be found. I will buy again.
