In the past, I've had to order 10% to 15% more empty jewel cases than I need because of breakage during shipping. I needed 92 empty cases for an order, so I was crossing my fingers that a box of 100 would be enough. Only 1 broken out of 100, and I'm not positive that I didn't break it myself!

These are perfectly suitable jewel cases. They do everything you need a jewel case to do. They are the correct size and they open and close and they hold CDs and inserts. The only problem is that SuperMediaStore has always packed them poorly for shipment. The box containing the cases is put in the shipping box with no padding on one or more sides. So the only thing between the somewhat fragile cases and whatever hard surface the shipping box is dropped against is two pieces of cardboard. Inevitably some cases arrive broken. But I still get these from SuperMediaStore because even if 10% are broken, they're still cheaper per useable case than any other price I can find.

Jewel cases are very similar if not better than the ones in the retail stores which sell them for $12.99 for a 10 pack. I use them for Cd's and they are great!! Highly recommend to anyone interested.

This double CD/DVD jewel case is perfect if you need to minimize the size and weight of a package. I used it for a musician who was about to go on tour in Japan where space was a premium as he travelled around the country. The resulting package was literally half the weight and a faction the size of a standard DVD box.
The plastic box is somewhat flexible, however, provide sufficient stability and adequate protection for the two disks inside. See through windows in either side work nicely for cover art and play list inserts.

I have bought these cases many times over the years and they continue to provide good quality for the cost paid. There are always a few damaged cases but I think this is more the fault of the carrier than Supermediastore.com. They are always packaged as a box inside a box stuffed full of styrofoam peanuts. Free ground shipping is a big plus. The overall cost is less than what I would pay at my local office supply store for a 100 count package. I would recommend this product to other buyers and will continue to buy it for myself in the future.

Product arrived on time and was better packed than in the past. But even the double boxing and "biodegradable" peanuts didn't protect the interior box enough. The case may have been dropped before packing also. There were about a 1/2 dozen broken cases, but that's not bad out of 100. This company is the best for price, variety, and all around good service.

You won't find a double CD jewel case at a lower price that matches the quality of these cases. Of course, there are some damaged ones in every shipment that I have purchased but Supermediastore.com does a good job packaging for protection. I think the fault lies with with shipper. It's a box; toss it around some despite the warnings of fragility. But I digress, this product does a good job storing CDs. It is sturdy and works well for the many storage needs I have. Overall, I would recommend this to other shoppers. I know I will continue to buy them as long the cost per unit remains fairly reasonable.

The plastic is weak at the hinges; between 10 and 20 were broken on arrival. Comes in a bigger box filled with packing peanuts, around a smaller box that fits these cases pretty tightly.
Other than that, though, pretty decent value for the price.

For the most part this was a good purchase. Fair price, nice jewel cases. The only problem I had was when the cd cases arrived, I opened the box and many of the jewel cases were smashed. It would be perfect if you could find a way to have these delivered without them being damaged.

Overall a good shopping experience. Good communication, prompt shipping, great value. Several jewel boxes were damaged even though the double boxed packaging appeared to offer adequate protection. Apparently UPS is capable of damaging even the best packaged products. Still a good value in spite of the losses.

I have used these cases for a number of years and they always meet my needs. I continue to receive double-boxed and protected shipments with about 5-10 cases out of 100 broken. Not a terrible average, but not good either. It is easy to order this product and when there is a coupon discount it is even better. Ground shipping via UPS Ground is almost always free and the delivery time is good. Overall, a good product; just wish I would get an order without broken cases.
