Card doesn't work in my Kodak Zi8 camera

I thought it was my video camera that was at fault when it would not record but found out it was the Ridata card. I tried other brands of SDHC memory cards and my camera worked fine - my camera just wouldn't work with the Ridata one. The price was great for the size of the card, but not worth it at all since it doesn't work right.

This card is being used in a Canon SX30IS. The main reason for this size and speed was intended for the video caputure capabilities of the camera. The Ridata card has performed as expected with no problems. Delivery of the card was quick and the price was very competitive. A smart buy!

Better than my Lexar Professional 16GB Class 10

I bought a Canon EOS Rebel T2i with a Lexar Professional 16 GB Class 10 card, and when I would record video, it would stop recording on it's own because my card wasn't fast enough (I know).

But I saw a sweet deal on this site for the Ridata 16 GB Class 10 card for 25 bucks, bought it, and 3 days later, I was recording video with my camera without it stopping on its own. I love it.

The RiDATA Class 10 SDHC work well with my Canon HD Vixia after I updated the camera's firmware (available on the Canon site . . . the firmware update was required for the camera to user the higher speed memory)

I've only been using this card a short while but I am impressed thus far. Camera (T2i) is noticeably more responsive than when used with San Disk Extreme I replaced (although Class 6). Can't speak to longevity but if my prior experience is any indication I feel confident as I've been using an older Ridata SD card exclusively in my SX3is for more than 3 years now with never a hint of trouble.

Had a little problem with shipping but SuperMediaStore's customer service sent a second one through a different carrier. So I've had this card for only about a week and so far it's holding up to my needs. I shot some photos at a school talent show and took over 900 photos without any problems. I'm using this card on my Canon 60D and works great with the video function of the camera, rapid fire shots work well too. So far I have not encountered any buffer pauses in rapid fire mode. Like all memory cards, actual memory is less than advertised, the 16gb is really only about 15gb but still a lot of memory for my needs. I will certainly update my review if I do encounter any errors or missing photos.

Fast card but initially I was a little confused when my camera stopped recording video because it complained the card's write speed was too slow for 720P video. Reformatted the card in camera then it worked fine.

I ordered this SDHC card so it would arrive before my new tablet PC. Turns out the manufacturer of the tablet was wrong; the manual also states "SD/MMC slot for additional storage". I guess in the Orient, they don't distinguish between SD and MicroSD. I'll use this card in my Nikon or the Sanyo GPS. Meanwhile I'm waiting for Supermediastore to have the 16GB MicroSD back in stock.

I was apprehensive about ordering a non-brand name item, but this company has been around for a few years and I have not seen any bad reviews about them recently. I'm sure all brand names have their failure rates also and so far for the past 2 weeks, the memory card is doing fine. I'll definitely post another review if it completely fails on me. It's kinda hard to review these things because it's pretty much invisible to you. It either works or doesn't work. This one works.
