Sequential read/write on large (5MB and larger) files is approximately 10/20 MB/s. Technically, this is "class 10", but on small files, it's much slower and greatly variable. I was thinking of using this in my D300S, but have ultimately decided to bite the bullet and get brand-S Ultra Pro (at a much higher price, naturally) "95MB/sec" cards and put the issue to rest once and for all. With those, there's no question about shooting 7 frames/sec in RAW format. Anyway, this is now going into an older Canon P&S which has been hobbled by an old "Class 1" card. Bottom line: I'd buy this again, with the understanding of its speed limitations on random small file sizes. With large files, and in read-mostly applications, it's a pretty good cost-effective choice.

Good product at the right price. Free shipping is a big plus, however if you are spoiled like I am and expect lots of tracking information, forget it. There is minimal tracking info available, but the merchandise always shows up in about a week and it is undamaged.

I have used this brand for my sports videography business for a few years and have not had any problems. This was the best price I have found for class 10 cards. I am not so sure that I need class 10 for my camcorders but I do see a speed improvement when copying data to my hard drive.

I bought the wrong camera a while back but finally with these class 10 cards the shooting actually works the way it should. pqi class 10 cards are fantastic compared to the terribly slow cards manufacturer's suggested class 4 for the high definition camera by K*dac. These new cards are fast and I no longer need to wait between shots while the camera was "Processing", for sometimes almost a half minute. NO WAITING! These are fast...

This is to be a spare memory card for my camera. I tried it in the camera (Panasonic GH1) and it works fine. No problems. However, it came without the little plastic case so I've got to devise something to keep it in because it is the spare. That's why only 4 stars for 'overall'.

I was shocked when I saw I received my order in less than a week. Shipping was extremely fast and product is exactly as described. I use it as an extra storage disk for my MP3 player and files transfer to and from the card in less than 6 min (for all 8gb). Playback of music is excellent as well... no skipping or choppy sounding music because this card transfers data fast. Highly recommended.

I tried it on large ~2GB data files. I get:
Write speed - up to 13 MB/s
Read speed - up to 17.7 MB/s
( spec says "Read up to 24MB/sec; write up to 19.5MB/sec").
I tried it with different readers with same result.
For comparison, I get about 17MB/s read and write with old SanDisk Ultra II which specs 15MB/s (100x)

Cannot blame USB or system here - I get considerably faster access with external USB drive.

Cannot comment on reliability yet.

Delivery was very fast, and price was great.

I'm most impressed with the read and write speed of this class 10 SDHC card. I have used it to replace a class 6 card in my camera and it's like a new camera. I hope to get another soon to upgrade another camera.

Way too slow to record HD video on my Canon T2i. Not only can it not keep up with any motion (pan, tilt or zoom) but my camera's buffer over runs on still shots with almost no motion (leaves, people or anything) within seconds on a completely empty card. Save your money and time if you want it for video and go with the Ridata Lightning series cards. I bought two of the 16 GB and am very happy. Just about to by a 32gb Lightning card too. Happy shooting.

Ordered end of July (almost 3 months ago), and seemed to work just fine in my Pentax K-x DSLR until last week when I took around 20 shots and they disappeared. The folder was empty! All recovery attempts failed. I have to think the card is at fault. Naturally, this kind of failure is intolerable. I will attempt a warranty replacement.

This is one of the very fastest of all of the memory cards that I own. All are Class 10 speed. I have used this Brand card with infallable results and without failure. This is not where you want to go with less reliable equipment. My photographs are very valuable TO ME. Several failures with three different brand memory cards with "better reputations" than PQ1. None with PQ1. Buy one or more and smile.

I was looking for a SD with Class rating of 4 or above for my Panasonic HD camcorder. I checked the SuperMediaStore and the pqi card was advertised that day at a special price. The pqi card was class 10, which was way above the minimum class required in my camcorder, but it was far less expensive than cards with much lower class ratings. I checked some reviews on the card and they were positive, so I went ahead with ordering it. I received very fast deliver of the card and I immediately tried it in my camcorder. It worked perfectly--very fast response time and the video saved on the card was excellent.
