Review of Blu-Ray Logo on top 6X 50GB BD-R Double Layer DL Media 10 Pack in Cake Box

These disks are great quality! However, they average a little over 4 dollars a disk which is a little high in my opinion. The 25GB disks are about 1 dollar per disk comparingly.

Able to burned movie contents without any problems.

I have used 5 out of the 10 discs to backup Blu-Ray Movies from my collection using Pavtube and Toast on my iMac via a external Digistor Blu-Ray burner. So far these discs have performed perfectly. The backups are prefect, they play on any player, no skips, lag, etc.

Shipping was fast, communication was ample and timely, the produce works great, and this is the cheapest price online for blank Blu-Ray Dual Layer media. Do not hesitate to make this purchase for any reason.

The discs work on 2 of 3 blu ray players, but they seem to work well on those 2, no skips, no read errors. The price will definitely hold me back from buying more though. Until they drop in price, I'm probably not going to buy again. Shipping FedEx Smart Post is terrible, took a week to go 90 miles, should've had them next day based off where I live and where they ship from.

I received these promptly and in perfect condition, but quickly discovered that my LG BP06LU10 portable Blu-Ray burner will not work with them at all.

At that point, I noticed something I had not previously noticed -- a tab that listed burners that work (and some that don't) with these media.

My burner was not listed, and, at the bottom of the list, there was fine print in red saying that there would be no guarantee, no return, and no exchange on these disks for burners not on the list.

As a relatively new customer, I had previously enjoyed perfect luck on this site. Media that worked at an outstanding price. This purchase represented a complete loss of $45 for me.

These media don't simply have problems with my burner. They don't work at all. Immediately upon writing, I get an "address out of range" error on ImgBurn.

Might I suggest a more obvious warning in the body of the description? Something like: "Warning -- be sure to consult the compatibility list". Note that many media have no such list or disclaimer of implied warranty.

Perfect burns & verifications on the entire spindle using an LG Bluray burner. Some minor issues with movie playback [very occasional hesitation and stutter on 2nd half of film] but I think it could easily be the stand-alone player having the issue - possible weak laser implemented where BDR is concerned. Best bargain out there right now on BDR50!

There is no way to get fare price for the 50 GB BD media out of this site. Believe me, I 've been searching all over the internet, every single store in my home town and I know what I'm talking about. You are in the right spot ! Regards Juan from Puerto Rico.

My LG Bluray Burner burns these discs just fine via Nero Burning Rom, albeit always at 2X despite choosing 6X. And I get perfect verifications every time.
However, there always seems to be moments of hesitations/freezes/drops on my LG stand-alone Bluray player. Not many - maybe 5-6 occasions. And it always seems to be at & after the point of reaching the second layer. I suspect it is an issue with the player and these discs. My player is on the latest firmware too - FYI.

Bought them based on Super Media Store and Optical Quantum website saying they've been tested with my drive (LG: WH10LS30K / firmware rev 1.00). However, I have not had any luck. Keep getting "Failed to Write Sectors 0 - 31, Power Calibration Area Error." Tried Nero v11, ImgBurn 2.5.6.0, Ashampoo Burning Studio 6, DVDFab 8 Qt, disabling IMAPI. If someone knows what to do, please help.

At this price, discs need to perform 100% of the time, not 80%.
